Chinese Adzuki Beans: Difficulty in Transporting

DALIAN: In some production areas in the Northeast, logistics and transportation are limited, and it is still challenging for grain merchants to receive and load grains. Grain merchants in other production areas maintain old customers to take goods on-demand, and inventory is generally low-priced and merchants are reluctant to sell. In the domestic wholesale market, red bean products are not sold smoothly. Traders digest the inventory and replenish it as needed. Some quotations are stable. Some of them consider the recent increase in procurement costs, and the quotations have risen. There is no good export for the time being, and the demand for red beans in the domestic wholesale market has not improved significantly—insufficient power to pull up. The grain surplus at the grassroots level is limited, the grain merchants are slow to deliver goods at low prices, and the short-term price support mentality remains unabated, which is a positive for the price of red beans. Logistics in some parts of the Northeast have not yet recovered, and we will pay attention to the actual purchase and sales in the main producing areas this week.
