DALIAN: Since late April, the price of organic millet in the production area has begun to rise. As of May 5, the price of gross grain increased by 9.59%. Farmers are busy with spring sowing, and the grassroots are slow to deliver goods. There is a certain amount of inventory in the intermediate links, the initial procurement cost is high, and the grain merchants who hold the goods have a mentality of keeping the price. However, the downstream demand is weak, and the market volume is limited. In most production areas, 40-50% of the grass-roots grain sources, coupled with the carryover of old grains, the market supply is sufficient.

At present, the daily volume of goods can fully meet a small amount of downstream rigid demand. The operating rate of rice factories is low, and the enthusiasm for replenishment is poor. From the perspective of supply and demand, the price of grain lacks upward momentum. Focus on the changes in the mentality and operation of the trading entities. After the stock-holding behavior is over, the grain price will stop rising, and it will be partially or slightly corrected.
