Market players informed that the raw material prices are still increasing nowadays and that it is, therefore, likely that export prices will be adjusted soon.
Exporters offer the same prices as last week this week, but they expressed that price increases will be reflected next week due to increased production costs despite the depreciated Turkish Lira.
Exporters are in full tempo processing their orders, and new demands seem to be satisfying as well. The Turkish Lira also depreciated since last week by approximately 3.0% after the interest rate cuts of the Turkish Central Bank.
Turkey exported 2.660 mt of dried figs and figs products which were 2.429 mt during the same week of last year. The total exports range at 11.599 mt, which was 13.292 mt in total in the same period the previous year.
