Forecasts: Ukraine will harvest 20% more oilseeds.

ODESA: According to the Ukroliyaprom association, oilseed production in 2021 will exceed 22 million tons, 20% more than last year’s harvest.

This year Ukrainian agrarians seeded more sunflowers. In some regions, the crop yield reaches 2 tons per hectare. This says that Ukraine will reach the level of 16.5 million tonnes in production.

As noted, the production of sunflowers will increase by 24%. The harvest of soybeans, according to experts, will grow by 11%, rapeseed – by 9%.

The capacities operating in Ukraine make it possible to process the grown crop of oilseeds fully.

Oilseeds prices at the moment are stable, but the price increase is entirely possible.
