ODESA: The volumes of grain export from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY amounted to almost 21 million tons, which is 3.3 million tons or 19% more than last year.
According to the agreement between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, exporters and local manufacturers, in 2021/22 MY wheat export from Ukraine cannot exceed 25.3 mln tons. Thus, since the beginning of the season, 12.98 million tons of wheat went abroad. This is 18% more than last year and 51% of this season limit.
Meanwhile, other grains supplies to foreign markets amounted to:
Wheat – 12.98 million tons or 18% more than last year;
Barley – 4.59 million tons or 35% more than last year;
Corn – 3.1 million tons or the same level as the previous year;
Rye – 70.7 thousand tons, dozens of times higher than the previous year’s figure (1.7 thousand tons).
